POM full name is Poly oxy methylene also known as Acetal, poly acetal and polyformaldehyde it is a kind of dystectic ,high crystallinity thermoplastic engineering plastic material, Very good mechanical properties and rigidity, and close to the metal material. It's an ideal replacement material of copper, cast zinc, steel, aluminum and other metal materials POM homo polymer is a semi-crystalline polymer (75–85% crystalline) with a melting point of 175°C (347°F). The POM copolymer has a slightly lower melting point of 162–173°C
The material is widely used in the automotive and consumer electronics industry.
